ASU Sundevils

I made my first and hopefully not my last ASU/Sparky cake this weekend. Creating Sparky was a challenge, but with the help of dh, I thought it turned out well.
I colored the marshmallow fondant maroon (which only made it a pale pink), but airbrushed it maroon. I need more practice getting it applied evenly.
I cut and traced a stencil with an Americolor Food Writer pen and handpainted in the maroon with the maroon color. I probably should have painted it in with the airbrush color because it went on really thick and the airbrush color is much thinner. Piped royal icing around the edges.

The recipients last name and his number is on the backside (which I failed to take a picture of).

Need to work on my writing. It's hard!

8" Lemon cake with lemon meringue filling.

Yep and paid for it too. Wouldn't want any NCAA violations!

WOW! You did a great job. I love the color and your writing is NOT bad at all. Writing is deifinitely hard though. I always HATE my writing!
