4th of July

Hubby and I made a 4th of July cake for a barbeque we went to on Saturday. I had a lot of trouble with the my fondant; there wasn't nearly enough to cover my 9" x 13" cake, but I was able to stretch it w/out tearing. It still wasn't pretty, hence the lovely gold border. We also had some obvious spacing and measurement issues, but I think it got the point across.


9" x 13" vanilla cake w/ vanilla buttercream frosting. Covered/decorated w/ mmf and gumpaste.

All I can say is WOW!
I have to make a rebel flag in October for a client (not really looking forward to that) I can only hope it looks as nice as your American flag.
