Aimy's Cake

Aimy's mom wanted a Dora and butterfly themed birthday cake for her 2nd birthday party.
Bottom tier is a 10" coffee infused chocolate cake with mocha buttercream. Middle tier is an 8" vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream. And the top tier is a 6" red velvet with vanilla buttercream. All covered and decorated with marshmallow fondant in yellow, violet and pink, respectively.

Not shown are the swirly #2 and Dora toppers I made. Cake needed to serve 50, but more likely could have fed 60+. Almost all of my cakes stand about 4" tall, but my bottom tier was close to 6" with both layers torted.

This cake was a lot of fun!

    Caitlyn says, "MY CAKE!" We love it! Hmmmm...wonder how one of those would make it in the mail to Montana ?!? :)
